Market QuickTake – Beaver Creek Takeaways: Sentiment, Juniors vs. Producers, Warrants & What’s Next
Fresh off the Beaver Creek Precious Metals Summit, Cory and Shad break down what they saw and heard across meetings with companies, funds, family offices, and active investors.
Key topics
- Conference vibe & flows: One of the busiest Beaver Creeks in years; more meetings with investors (not just corporates). Sentiment broadly bullish.
- Producers vs. juniors: Developers and producers pushing larger programs and timelines; many juniors still lagging due to thin newsflow, warrant overhangs, or unclear work plans.
- “Early innings?”: Why calling this the start of the cycle is misleading – majors and ETFs have been trending for years; juniors are now playing catch-up.
- Timelines that matter: PEA → FS fast-tracks, bulk samples, and small-scale production – where that can work and where it can go wrong.
- Warrants everywhere: In-the-money warrants fueling treasuries and rotation; how investors are exercising, clipping, and reallocating.
- Rotation watch: While gold leads, eyes are turning to copper, uranium, and critical minerals for the next leg.
Stocks / symbols mentioned
NEM (Newmont), AEM (Agnico Eagle), GDX, GDXJ
Macro & rotation talk (no recommendations): uranium, copper, critical minerals

Sorry, I didn’t mean to put you on the spot! I googled them but it looks like they were there last year but not this year. Go Figure? DT
Yes, I saw Diana in IR and noticed Gwen was also there, but never got a chance to catch up with her.
They are sponsors of the show, so we’ll be having them on soon for an update. In the last interview we had with Gwen it seemed like things were going well with the ramp up of mining. They are increasing the ore each month to try and achieve commercial production by year end.
Hi Ex, did you also chat with ODV, AYA, and BLLG? What did you think?
Hi Bonzo. No, I didn’t meet with Blue Lagoon, Osisko Development, or Aya Gold & Silver at the conference. I’m aware of the success all 3 companies have had, but find all 3 to be more fairly valued at this point compared to their peers that are still retating higher.
Hi DT, I thought HG was best of the best. I bought a lot of WRLGF@.49 and was sorry to see they sold another 30 million shares yesterday @.95 CD. I was hoping they would not need to issue more shares once the mine was producing. But I still like them a lot.
Hi Bonzo, HG is the Best of the Best in their category, I hope you noticed the news release HG put out this morning they have a bright a very bright future. DT
the mind boggles at all the uses of pristine graphene. I wish I had bought more HGRAF @1.08
WRLG sold 6 million additional shares for a total of 36 million. So they went down today. Did you hear Sean Roosen today at the Denver show? ODV may be the best of the best. Cariboo may be 30 million oz and produce more than Detour and Malarctic mines. And ODV’s Tintic in Utah might be humongous too.

Hi Ex, I am desperate to know what is happening with WRLG, West Red Lake Gold. I view it as The Best Of The Best, could you please let me know what is going on with this company. I feel that there should be more news forthcoming but you have the inside track. Could you give us some more information. DT
